Two people, Firerhymer and Ruvort walked with the grand prize, a Burning Crusade keyset and zBoard base unit while five other winners recieved a Reaper gaming mouse and a Fragmat gaming mousepad.

Below are the Grand Prize winners and their full winning posts along with summaries of the additional winners. To see the original thread that was used in voting (and contains the full entries of all the winners) visit here.

Special thanks to Ideazon for allowing us to run this contest! They were kind enough to provide all of the amazing prizes for this contest.

Grand Prize (2 Winners)

The Grand Prize winners will be awarded a zBoard base unit (the image in the back, also includes a standard keyset) along with a World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade keyset. We've got a review of this fine keyboard located right here and Ideazon has all of the details on its many many features over at their website. The top winners received this delightful combo!

Additional Prizes (5 Winners)

The Reaper gaming mouse is a mouse designed with nothing but gaming in mind. This popular mouse has all of the features needed to ensure that your hand movements match perfectly with what's going on in the game. The Fragmat, Ideazon's custom made mouse pad, is designed to be a perfect match with the Reaper gaming mouse (or any mouse for that matter) and allows fluid movement of your mouse over its surface. You can get the full details over at Ideazon's website. A Reaper gaming mouse and a Fragmat were given to the next five winners!

Grand Prize Winners

Firerhymer's "Contraptionist"

The World is my Mechanical Oyster

Throughout time there have risen heroes to inspire nations, heroes who are looked upon in awe, some for their Vision, some for their Courage and others for their sheer gravity-be-damned Geekiness.

The Contraptionist is one of the latter.

Born to build, Contraptionists can be found amongst the more industrious races, the Gnomes, Dwarves, Orcs and Taurens... yes... that's right... Taurens.

The Contraptionist relies on hand tossed explosives for combat and is quite comfortable with guns. Every Contraptionist begins with a small recyclo-bot that at lower levels follows him or her around collecting the remains of the explosives with a small magnetic pulse-broom and suk-vac, ensuring that the Contraptionist never runs out of Boom. (*Warning* Do not use recyclo-bot when your mechanical squirrel is running loose as your next bomb may contain nuts.) As the Contraptionist grows more powerful, the recyclo-bot can be upgraded into the "Fearsome Doom-Bot of Redundant Destruction".

The following are Trees and abilities used by the Contraptionist

Gadgets - A plethora of upgrades to your current gadgetry, as well as access to a king's ransom in clockwork mayhem and outlawed devices.

The Chitti-Bang Doomsday Device - 41 Point Skill - We're not sure how it works, or even what it does. Use with extreme caution. If possible, get someone else to push the button.

Explosives - More bang for your buck. Improve your explosives until even you hesitate to use them.

Da BIG One - 41 Point Skill - If you can see, hear, or otherwise sense the Contraptionist, you are too close. As this weapon can kill a god, blessings from above including direct divine intervention will not matter for those within the weapon's range. Da BIG One is uncompromising in that it fails to discern friend from foe. As a small perk, the precise center of the blast is the last spot incinerated, so Contraptionists may watch their handiwork before joining their allies in death. The vicinity of the blast is contaminated, and anyone entering the area with 10 minutes of the explosion will turn into a leper gnome, turn inside out, and then die... painfully. Range of Blast is 0 to 500 yards. 30 Second Arming Timer, but bomb has a 50% chance of exploding when there are 5-15 seconds remaining. 10 Second Cooldown. Damage from Da BIG One is non-quantifiable. Enemies killed in this manner leave no body, no ashes, certainly no loot, and the durability of equipment on the Contraptionist is zeroized.

Mechanized - Upgrade your Mechanical pets and bots, and create newer, better, shinier, more POWERFUL MWUAHAHAHA... er yes.

J5 Kill Bot - 41 Point Skill - Create a small bot that carries a big lazer. Known to malfunction from time to time and turn on its creator. Shouting "I'm Alive" reverts control back to the Contraptionist. Lasts until it short circuits. Batteries not included, but may be stolen from a toaster. Should a toaster with batteries prove difficult to find, a hydrogen fuel cell comes standard in each J5.

Ruvort's "Necromancer"

Kill them, bind them, and then bring them to your will!

The Necromancer is an elite caster class made up of mages and warlocks that have been tainted by dark energies and now use these dark energies to do their bidding. Along with these dark new powers comes a price, an uncontrollable hunger for even more power, which can lead to a Necromancer's destruction if he/she is not careful. But if a Necromancer learns to harness this hunger and use it for their own uses, then they become almost unstopable

Trees

Lich
This tree alows the Necromancer to Transform into a Skelleton or Lich and concentrates on the different abilities gained in Lich form. While in Lich form you can not use any melee weapons or make any physical attacks.

Talents/Skills include:
Embracing Darkness - This ability allows you to embrace your inner dark energies and heal yourself outside of combat.

Call of the Forsaken- With this ability you can cast a spell on your target that drains both health and mana from your target every time they attack and gives it to you.

Engulfment - 41 Talent.
This ability allows you to call up a blanket of darkness and despair over your target, causing your target to be blinded, run away in fear, and take 600 points in damage. Also its next attack will miss, and all its attacks after that are 10% more likely to miss and 5% likely to damage themselves.

Lord of the Night
This tree is a more physicaly centered combat tree than any of the others. In this tree you become one of the most feared creatures of the night....the Vampire and use your dark energies to feed on the living.

Talents/Skills include:
Regenerative Bite - With this ability you can "bite" your target causing them to lose health and causing you to gain a boost in the regeneration of your health and mana points.

Crippling Gash - This ability weakens your target causing them to move slower and their attacks only do 50% of their original damage.

Forbidden Pact - This ability summons creatures of the night to come to your aid.

Undying Rage - With this ability you go into a rage making your attacks do 110% damage to your target and your attacks do not miss. You also gain a short boost in health, armor, and speed.

Assassin of the Night - 41 Talent.
This ability makes you invisible to your target, allowing you to sneek up on them. Once in close combat range you can deliver a terrifying blow to your opponent causing 400 - 600 damage. After this attack is delivered your target, if still alive, is knocked down and stunned for 10 seconds.

Reaper
To control the dead and death itself is the ultimate power....
Reapers gain direct control of the dead and use the powers of darkness and death to do their bidding. This is a more balanced tree consisting of both physical and magical attacks.

Talents/Skills include:
Embracing Darkness - This ability allows you to embrace your inner dark energies and heal yourself outside of combat.

Unyielding Darkness - With this ability you can drain health and mana from your target, causing them to weaken and their attacks to do 80% damage.

Reapers Rampage - This ability allows you to call forth your Scythe causing your next attack to do 550 - 600 shadow damage and also allows you to reanimate their corpse as a minion, which lasts untill it is killed.

Call of the Damned - 41 Talent.
Allows you call forth the dead to aid you. This ability will call up 3 - 5 undead minions to fight for you for 30 seconds. The amount of damage delt by these minions depends on your level and the amount of points invested in this talent.

Playable Races: Anyone who can be a warlock/mage.

Honorable Mentions

One entry we received was originally a grand prize winner, but due to the location in which he lived we were unable to award his original prize. As such, since he did get the most votes, it's only fair to list his awesome entry as well!

Reaper & Fragmat Winners

To view the full listing of runner up prize winners please see this thread on our forums.

razerblade's "The Crusader"

The Crusader is trained by the most decorated and experienced of priests and Paladins. Only the brightest and strongest are able to complete the training required to become the child of steel and light. Their paladin training allows them to wield 1 handed swords and maces as well as daggers and pole arms. They have been granted the right to dawn a shield in combat and wear mail armor by the Highest of authorities in the Church.

The Crusader is the first class to be aimed at thwarting the powers of dark/light and dampening the pesky magi used by mages and the likes. Their most powerful asset is their ability to withstand brutal amounts of magical energy while carrying out the work of the light. With this they radiate critical magic dampening auras. Through countless hours of study and devotion to the light, the Crusader is a force to be reckoned with.

Veok's "The Voodoomancer"

The Voodoomancer is a hero class available to troll priests, mages, and shamans.

Before they joined Thrall and the new horde, the trolls of the Darkspear knew nothing of shamans or the holy light. Instead, the witchdoctors lead their religion. Voodoomancers are trolls who return in part to these roots, embracing the ancient magick and weird customs.

The Following are new skills and abilities used by the Voodoomancer hero class. They are further broken down into three different "trees" of abilities

LouisCipher777's "BattleMage"

Not all wizards wear robes and study dusty tomes. In this time of strief some need to take a more active role in the war. Sharpening his sword and tightening his armor he grabs his reagents and teleports to the front lines.

His combat skills are extensive, able to wield any weapons and wear any armor with great effectiveness.

The frenzy of battle is like home to him, and his command of the elemental forces make him a fierce and dangerous foe. When needed he can call down the fury of Fire, Ice, and Arcane Energy, often engaged in a perilous melee while prepairing the next spell.

Crazed's "The Spell Breaker"

Spell Breakers have spant ages studying the very nature of magic, and thus have learned how to manipulate it. Their controll manifests itself in different ways, damage, protection, and enchantment.

The spell breakers wear mail armor and wield a powerfull ranged sword as well as a large sheild. Their sword as well as their sheild play an important role to the class and are class specific. The spell breaker also has a mana AND an energy bar, details on how that works below. (Note: all abilities that use energy also use mana)

Diminish's "The Martial Artist"

A warrior that needs no weapon, but has trained in many. An Adventurer at peace with nature but aware of her power. An intellect that realizes the powers of both the mind and mysticism and directs them through his body.

Purity of Mind
Purity of Body
Purity of Being

These things all drive the Martial Artist. Driven to reach beyond the limits of a mortal body. He has honed himself to physical perfection. Not to be contained in an average mind, he has opened himself and awakened a new understanding of the world's interactions.
