I decided to head out and answer a question that I had regarding beta--flying mounts.
Flying mounts are available only in the Outlands. You must have a riding skill of 150 to learn to
ride a basic flying mount. You must have a riding skill of 225 to ride a swift flying mount. The
expert skill (riding skill of 225) costs 800g to train; the artisan skill (300 skill) costs 5000g to
train. There is one place to train the riding skill - Shadowmoon Valley. The alliance can train at Wildhammer Stronghold in the south part of Shadowmoon Valley, and the horde can train in Shadowmoon Village to the north.

The basic gryphons come in three colors: ebon, golden and ebon. The swift gryphons come in four colors: purple, red, blue, and green.
