Remember SHODAN? Meet Patch.

Tabula Rasa seems to be channeling System Shock 2 with this latest 1.6 "Patches to Ashes" preview video, and the result looks to be a rich tactical experience that every veteran squad will want to take on. Mission Designer Jason Ford details how squads will infiltrate this level 48 instance to confront Patch, a self-aware AI turned murderous. If you manage to dodge Patch's creations - both automatons and, shall we say, "upgraded" humans of the creeptastic variety - you'll find yourself and your squad in a pitched boss battle with a compu-creation that makes HAL seem like a drinking buddy by comparison.
