All tanks are not created equal
There have been some concerns in the community about how each tank will perform their role and if each one will indeed be a viable tank for grouping. Many feel the Guardian will be the best option for main tanking for a group while the Dark Templar and Conqueror may be secondary tanks brought along for offense more than defense. However, I feel that each tank will be able to tank effectively for a group. I feel that they will each do it differently, but each in my opinion will be able to fill that role just as well as the next. What do you think? Who is the greatest tank of all?
This week saw the first round of answered questions for Ten Ton Hammer's "Ask the Devs" forum. With the cooperation of Funcom's Jason "Athelan" Stone we have been able to take questions from the community and get a few answers. The first round of answers are in and people are discussing them on the official AoC forums as well as in the Ten Ton Hammer "Answered Questions" forum. Feel free to join us and add your thoughts.
This thread was started to discuss the finer aspects of roleplaying. I'm sure all roleplayers are welcome to discuss even though it is stated to be for the RP-PvP server. We're still in the air on that whole RP-PvE thing so in the meantime for those of you drooling about the RP-PvP rule set, feel free to join in on this discussion on roleplaying. A lot of interesting points and ways of which people roleplay their characters so you should find some good talks in this thread.
Will the Bear Shaman be Overpowered in PvP?
Some people feel as though the Bear Shaman may be an overpowered class and thus the subject of this thread. I view the Bear Shaman much like the Disciple in Vanguard. It is a melee oriented healing class and their heals are tied to their offense. This can actually be a double edged sword, but if implemented correctly a very interesting class. What do you think? What Crafting Profession will you choose
Have you decided what crafting profession you will be when Age of Conan goes live? Mavan, head moderator of the official Age of Conan forums wants to know. In this new thread a nice shiny new poll has been included to see what area of the crafting sphere the community is leaning towards. Right now the professions are almost an even split across the board. Cast your vote and join in for some crafting discussion.
AoC Ten Ton Hammer Threads of the Week

A new Age of Conan Combat Training video was released by Funcom and it has been the subject of much discussion throughout the community. The new video offers a hands on look at how melee combat will work in AoC. If you had any questions this video will likely answer them. You can see the video here. Our own JoBildo tracked down a new interview from Massively with Funcom developer Jorgen Tharaldsen that covered a variety of great topics and information, but more importantly, the three day head start for Age of Conan Hyborian Adventures preorder has now been confirmed. New Feature - Ask the Devs
You have questions and we have answers. With the cooperation of Funcom and developer Jason "Athelan" Stone Ten Ton Hammer has arranged a nice new venue for players to ask their questions for developers at Funcom about Age of Conan. This week Jason "Athelan" Stone has been very busy answering many questions. You can read and discuss them in our answered questions forum here. Have a question you would like to ask? You can do so here. Just be sure to read the guidelines first as the questions will be moderated to keep out things that have already been answered elsewhere and silly questions to make it easy for Athelan to answer things as quickly as possible without unnecessary clutter. However if you have a good question, by all means post it and we will try our best to get it answered.
