Introduction

With Patch 2.4, a handful of new Daily Quests became available for some players who met those requirements - from PvP-based objectives yielding Honor and Gold, to new fishing Daily Quests if your skill is high enough. In this Guide, we will cover these new Quests as well as their rewards.

Quests - Fishing

Old Man Barlo right outside Shattrath City, near the Lake at the Northern Part of Terokkar Forest is the new NPC you must talk to to get your daily fishing quests - they vary just like the cooking one, yet the rewards are considerable and worth checking out!

Quest: Bait Bandits

You will be asked to go fish for a Blackfin Darter - they are in the rivers of Terokkar Forest. You may not fish in a lake, as they only live in rivers, and you will probably need 375 fishing + a lure in order to secure a catch. Just make sure to click quickly once you see a bite, or you may lose this catch! Once you've obtained your Blackfin Darter, head back and turn your Quest in.

Quest: Crocolisks in the City

Crocolisks have been spotted breeding in the Major Cities now! You will be asked to go fish out a baby crocolisk from one of the capital cities. Head to Orgrimmar or Stormwind and cast your line, remember to use a lure as well to ensure you get it in the least time possible. In Stormwind, you can fish it out in the Canals, and in Orgrimmar you may fish it out where the fishing trainer is.

Once you've caught your Crocolisk, head back and turn this in. In addition to the quest reward, you may receive a baby crocolisk non-combat pet of your own as well!

Quest: Felblood Fillet

You will be asked to retrieve a Monstruous Felblood Snapper from the vile rivers of Shadowmoon Valley or Hellfire Peninsula. Head over, use your best lures, and hope you are lucky enough to get it in the first few catches!

Quest: Shrimpin' Ain't Easy

You will be asked to go to Zangarmarsh to obtain some shrimp from its waters - the problem is, shrimp has been eaten by the bloated barbed gill trouts! So, you will need to fish out some Bloated Barbed Gill Trouts, right-click them, and retrieve any shrimp inside their bellies.

Upon obtaining 10 shrimp, head back to Old Man Barlo.

Quest: The One That Got Away

You will be asked to go to Nagrand and fish in the water there - anywhere in Nagrand works just fine. The fish you will be looking for is the World's Largest Mudfish - after a few lines, you will obtain it and head back to Barlo.

For all of these Quests, you will obtain a Bag of Fishing Treasures! This bag is special since it may contain a wealth of items previously unseen, some pretty rare, some worth valuable coin!

From Elixirs of Waterwalking, to Fishing Lures, Fishing Hats, +Stamina Blue Gemstones, Recipe for Captain Rumsey's Lager (fishing drink), Shadow Pearls, and maybe even the elusive 2 Ring that adds 22 to all stats!

PvP Quests

New PvP Quests have been added to Outland that yield 300some Honor and 10-12 gold! Quests may be obtained from:

- Hellfire Peninsula's Alliance/Horde Hubs (4 Tower Control)

- Zangarmarsh's Alliance/Horde Hubs (Twin Tower Control)

- Terokkar Forest's Alliance/Horde Hubs (Spirit Tower Controls)

- Nagrand's Alliance/Horde Hubs (Halaa Domination)

To complete the Quests, you will usually just need to head over and accept them, then participate in your faction's capture of the PvP objective!
