The DJ’s and Listeners of GridStream Productions (6 year organization based in Funcom’s first MMO title Anarchy Online) have started a guild. If you are a friend of GSP and aren't a griefer, troll, whiner, spawn-camper, ninja-looter, Leroy-Jenkins-Wanna-Be or jackass then please head to http://www.invictrum.com and submit an application. We are a serious guild and plan on making a known presence in AoC. The name Invictrum is derived from the two Latin words Invicta Verum meaning Undefeated Truth. The guild is based in the US servers, although if there is enough demand we can make a European division as well.

FORGE - Clan Website



FORGE is a group of ruffians coming from a long history of MMO gaming. Though the guild has just been created, the members have been playing MMO games since before Felucca and Trammel. They plan to create their guild on a server that has already become a community in the BattleGroup9 forums. No doubt they will step up to take on some heavy PvP with some already well known guilds.



FORGE is recruiting, and applicants can apply using their guildportal accounts at the FORGE website.

The Black Hand - Clan Website



The Black Hand is a hardcore/casual North American PvP guild, hellbent on dominating the Age of Conan PvP scene. We are a close-knit guild, almost like a family at times. We look out for our own, and will not hesitate to crush anyone who challenges us. The Black Hand is looking for dedicated PvP'ers that enjoy the smell of death in the air, the taste of victory after battle, and can work well with a team.



Our guild was originally formed in August of 2006 as an Imperial PvP guild for the SWG Emulator project, and have since transitioned to Age of Conan. As such, our core member base is made up of some of Pre-CU SWG's finest PvP veterans, hailing from nearly a dozen servers. In addition to the SWG veterans amongst us, we have other exceptional PvPers in our ranks as well, having gained their skills through experience in other MMOs.

Weekly Clan News

Nova Kepusko - After a long and dangerous journey a messenger of Nova Krepusko arrived at the TenTonHammer-Castle. He was badly heart and the pain in hies eyes told a terefing story of death and darkness. He culd not speak, he tried but the words never leaved his lips. In his right hand he caried a note, a torn piece of paper, barely holding together and full of strange character but the text was clear and easy to read:

What is this strange text? is it a call for help? The high lord of TenTonHammer was curius and he gently stroke his fingers over the text wondering how such strange words ever culd be created. almost emidetly after touching it he felt strange, this is magic he thought and instinctively drove his hand away but it was too late. The magic did its thing and dispatched the high lord to another universe, a place created by Nova Krepusko to gather lost souls and its like. When the high lord bared to open his ayes again he could finely see the true meaning of the strange note. He could see moving paintings with embedded text of Nova Krepusko seeking help in there struggle of ensuring peace in Hyboria.

Teutonic Interdiction - We have been slowly getting members into the guild but it seems alot of people comming to the site are a little put off with our style of play. Still we are getting a steady stream of recruits and things are going well for us at the moment and it also looks like we have a good allyship in the works with Got Crunk? They have the same attitudes we do, fun smack talking people but get serious when its GO time. If you want a laid back atmosphere with no drama, but knows when to get serious apply on the site here.

Brotherhood of the Spider - One of our officers, Zapron, has made an excelent feat calculator located at ConanKave.com. Also we have a new banner which you can find in the registry area for Clan Soup.

Sanguiphoria - The past couple weeks over here at Sanguiphoria have been filled with a smorgasbord of beta information and new applications. We've had 17 new members brought into the fold in the past week and a half with more applications than we can shake a fist at. We're expecting to reach capacity before launch. The guild spirits are high in anticipation of release and right now were just waiting out the last few days with forums games and a bit of roleplay.

Brotherhood of the Sacred Shadows - Currently this week, Many of Brotherhood of the Sacred Shadows are gearing up for Open Beta from the File Planet Contest. A few got in on MMOlecule.com, and several have entered various other sites that are giving away Beta Keys. One of our members was even lucky enough to win 3 keys from different contests, talk about lucky!



We are hitting some all time milestones in the guild, with the most people ever online at one time, and the same with the most ever on Ventrilo, as well as hitting well over 200 members now! We have several people going into Next weekends open beta, and will look forward to playing the game as a team... We'll let you guys know how it turns out.



Everyone is really getting excited with the anticipated launch only a few weeks away, we've started a new Board group for the Tech enthusiast we have in the guild, For members that are tweaking their systems and building news ones that just need some help. It's turned in to quite a well of knowledge, and everyone is eating it up!



On a side note, the early start for those that Pre-Ordered from Game stop, and other retailers is closely approaching and we're all getting ready for that as well, just wish we didn't know more then some of the local store managers in regards to Age of Conan...lol

Question of the Week

This week, I asked the Clans a very dividing question...



Will your Clan be focusing more on PvE or PvP in Age of Conan?



Ultimately, there was no clear winner. It seems an equal number of clans want to PvP as much as PvE to their hearts are content in Hyboria. Some even plan on straddling both! Heck, I suppose it was a bit of a loaded question. I mean who doesn't want to lop some big raid targets' heads off, as well as some of their fellow gamers' heads? Anyway, here's a few of the best answers I received...

Sanguiphoria - As your question seems an easy one, answering it is a little complicated. Due to the nature of the server we wish to roll on. Sanguiphoria will be focusing initially on PVE, getting to a point where the city is under construction and completing instances requiring groups. After this we'll be focusing more and more on PVP to ensure were a viable force for the border kingdoms.



Your Robert E. Howard quote of the day: Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skulls split, as a general thing.

Notorious - Krebul here; guild leader of Notorious. Our guild's intent is to have an even balance of PvE and PvP. Our recruitment efforts will be centered around thriving in the Border Kingdoms and maintaining one of the elusive Battlekeeps for as long as possible. Should our plans come to reality, over time we will develop a server-wide reputation, forbidding any guilds searching for a Battlekeep from attacking the one that belongs to Notorious. This is the first and foremost goal of our guild: PvP Notoriety.



During times of peace, we intend to push PvE extremely aggressively. We have many hardcore members who have no problem putting in the hours required to push end-game content. This sets us up in a unique position in gaining server domination. Should our goals be adequately met, "Notorious" will be uttered with caution.

The Old Timers Guild - As a guild we are going to have a chapter at both during launch. I think we are one of the few guilds that is looking to do this.



we have about 450 members for PvE and about 180 members for PvP. On PvP we are still waiting on the rulesets for the servers before we decide if we go FFA PvP or RP-PvP.

Brotherhood of the Spider - Brotherhood of the Spider has primary goals in both PVE and PVP. Obviously players will be leveling and questing in PVE. Additionally, we will be raiding at every opportunity, with the goal of having every world first raid kill.



In the PVP arena we plan on having the world first city and Battlekeep; which will create the environment for us the have the massive siege battles that Funcom is promising. We plan on having it all.

Cleaning Up

It's a bit of a light issue due to the fact that we've got Open Beta coming up this week, as well as our first of many Clan Interviews scheduled to run at the end of the week. So it seems that the Soup is over-flowing into other areas of Ten Ton Hammer... and that's the way we like it!
