Catering to the mainstream press, Funcom's morning presentation painted Age of Conan (set for release on May 20th) in broad strokes, but even the most fixated AoC fan will enjoy Product Manager Erling Ellingsen and Game Director Gaute Godager's highly informative presentation of the game as it currently stands, looking as ready for release as you'll find among today's MMORPGs.

If you'd prefer to read a superb writeup on the event rather than watch this video series, start with John "Boomjack" Hoskin's Age of Conan Event Coverage right here.

To help deliver the video quickly and get you exactly the information you're looking for, we've split the presentation into three parts. Part One (this page) has a bit of introductory content about the event and offers gameplay and storyline basics. It's perfect for the AoC uninitiated.

More AoC-attuned players will definitely want to join in for Part Two (next page) takes into the gorgeous, waterfall-riven Thunder River zone for a look at combat (melee, ranged, and a rare glimpse at spellweaving for casters as well). In Part Three, Gaute and Erling take us into Tarantia proper for a climactic, never-before-seen meeting with King Conan himself!
