Stargate Worlds Apologizes for Downtime

Posted Wed, Jun 25, 2008 by Morvelaira

The culprit? Bad AC

The Stargate Worlds website and forums were down for about three hours yesterday and with no warning. Apparently the air conditioning decided to give out, and the servers just can't take the heat of 100+ degree temperatures.

Servers were disabled according to priority, the most important remaining on until the very last minute, until work upstairs was effectively halted just before 5 o’clock PST. StargateWorlds.com and Stargate Worlds Forum were down for approximately three hours.

Needless to say, things are working again today! Thanks for sticking with us through the summer heat as we work to bring you our MMO!

For more on the effects on the servers and the dev's, please check Stargate Worlds' website.
