Only 3 MMO's?

With E3 approaching rapidly (just over two weeks!) the boys over at the ESA are gearing up and getting all the official information in place. Today brings us the games list, all the games that will be featured at the yearly Expo.

Out of the multitude of games that will be shown at E3 next month, only three of the listed are MMOs. Interestingly enough, one of them is World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, along with Champions Online and WAR. Normally I'd expect this, but Activision/Blizzard recently pulled out of the ESA, saying they would not be attending E3 this year. In addition, they announced their own competing news event for the first day of E3:

Activision will apparently instead be hosting their own press event on the first night of the E3 event, with various other press events also likely during the week of the show – including the traditional annual media briefings from Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft.

Some would say that listing Wrath of the Lich King as one of the attending games at E3 is just wishful thinking by the ESA after the very public exit Activision/Blizzard made from the scene. But, I can't help thinking that if the game is listed there's some kind of agreement behind it. What that agreement is? I don't have a clue at this point. Stay tuned loyal viewers.
