"Not as much crossover as we expected between communities"

In a recent interview, World of Warcraft lead designer Jay Wilson said Blizzard wasn't afraid of competition within itself. While they hope we'll all be interested in Diablo 3, they don't really fear people canceling their accounts for it.

"No we're not afraid of losing WOW subscribers to Diablo III," lead designer Jay Wilson said during a press conference - following the game's unveiling at Blizzard's Worldwide Invitational event in Paris this weekend.

"There's not as big of a crossover as we expected between the two communities," senior exec and Blizzard co-founder Frank Pearce offered on the same subject, "but we're certainly hoping that the WOW community will be interested in DIII."
