Funcom admits there are differences between men and women

Since the nudity didn't illustrate it fully enough, Funcom has admitted there are in fact differences between men and women. But that isn't what has everyone upset, its the fact that there are differences in weapon speeds between the male and female avatars. If you have AoC forum access you can read the full Funcom response here. Essentially it boils down to animation speeds. On standard attacks the different animations don't generate a large discrepancy. Once combo attacks play into the equation though, the differences can be more noticeable. The good news is that a fix is on the way, the bad news is that they have to change about 800 - 1,000 animations so it won't be a quick fix.
