Among the most pivotal (not to mention, most memorable) moments in Warcraft franchise history was the Frostmourne- corrupted Prince Arthas' return to Stratholme and subsequent murder of his father, King Terenas. And, as if that wasn't bad enough, Arthas went on to turn his people into undead lackeys in a stream of events collectively known as The Culling.
As the next installment of WoW's much talked-about Caverns of Time series, players can travel back to a briefly idyllic Stratholme just before this (literally) haunting turn of events. Lead Level Designer Cory Stockton offers some details about this homage to Warcraft III (and some walkthrough video of Stratholme) in this presentation, recorded live at Blizzard Invitational '08.
