Ten Ton Hammer - Taking MMO Gamers to the Next Level!

Aion closed beta journal #3 from Zyuu of Curse.com.

In a lengthy journal of his recent Aion playtime, Zyuu of Curse.com delivers a discussion of his first ten levels and a wealth of screenshots. Based on the information, NCSoft’s PvPvE-centric game continues its march towards launch. What is PvPvE you ask? PvPvE is what happens when players join a war against each other while NPCs try to wipe out the players beating on each other. Appropriately named, "The Abyss" is where the PvPvE action takes place between the Asmodian and Elyos player races and the Balaur NPC race.

The screenshots show off a very detailed art direction and the beta journal provides insight into what awaits the general public:

”I gain wings and can now fly! Ooh, now flying around in this very dark place (I can't control myself, it's all automated) I zoom by several Asmodians and Elyos fighting, it's definitely The Abyss."

In the preceding section I believe Zyuu is discussing this http://www.curse.com/images/details/134269/ " target="_blank"> screenshot which is impressive on a number of fronts. It’s impressive because this part of the gameplay happens before level ten, and equally impressive is that the Swedish author can read Korean. Maybe MMOs are the real universal language.
