CLAN INTERVIEW – BORN IN CHAOS

JoBildo: style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>Let’s get the courtesies out of the
way first.  Thanks so much for taking the time to do this interview with
us.  It’s always great to get to know one of clans a bit more.

BORN IN
CHAOS: I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to chat with you. It’s
like finally meeting a celebrity!

JoBildo: style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial'> Great... there goes my ego, expanding again. My wife will hate you for that... if she could fit in the same room as my giant inflated head that is. Anyway, tell us
(that is the entire world) a little bit about BORN IN CHAOS.

BORN IN
CHAOS: Born in Chaos (lovingly called BiC by all and sundry) was created in
2002 as a champ spawn guild in Ultima Online. After a few years at the top of
the PVP scene there, we moved on to World of Warcraft. BiC has also been
involved in Guild Wars, CoV, EQ2, Tabula Rasa, and SWG. BiC is now exclusively
in Age of Conan, and we have made our home here.

JoBildo: style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial'> How would you guys classify
yourselves?  Are you a tight-knit role-play clan, a PvP clan…?

BORN IN
CHAOS: We are a very tight knit, PVP guild.

JoBildo: style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial'> Well, do you feel like sharing how
the Clan’s run?  What’s the leadership like, and how do you guys delegate
authority?  Basically, are you more Hitler or more Gandhi?

BORN IN
CHAOS: While I would not really classify myself as Hitler, I would definitely
have to say that it’s definitely not run by a council and is certainly not a
democracy. I take every idea and person into consideration when making
decisions for BiC, but I will always make the decision of what is best for the
guild as a whole, and not what is best for one single individual. Sacrifice the
few, for the many. It sounds harsh, but our longevity speaks of itself. I do
not allow drama, racial or homophobic slurs or any exploits or cheating in our
guild home either. My men are proud to be a part of BiC and act accordingly.

JoBildo: style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial'> How many members of BORN IN CHAOS
are there currently?

BORN IN
CHAOS:

Around 50

JoBildo: style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial'> Now, it’s a pretty popular thing in
terms of guilds and clans to host events on their respective servers.  Is
that something BORN IN CHAOS ever does?

BORN IN
CHAOS: We have in the past, however we tend to do things a bit differently.
Rather than host events on our servers, I host a 4 day party each year at my
home in Austin, Texas for all members in my guild who are 21 and up. Our BiC
Parties are legendary and I can’t tell you how many times people who aren’t
even IN my guild have asked me about when the next BiC Party is, or how they
can get an invite.

JoBildo: style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial'> If you guys are recruiting for new
members, can you tell us what exactly it takes to become one of the BORN IN
CHAOS?  What’s required of a prospective member?

BORN IN
CHAOS: All our members are required to run Ventrilo. This isn’t an option. We
feel that it promotes camaraderie and friendship—and for PVP it’s mandatory.
Additionally, we want people who are team players. I don’t care how old you
are—but you’ve got to be mature. This is more than a group of gamers, this is a
gaming family. We LOVE to pvp, but you have to be able to follow the rules and
know when it’s time to be serious and get to business. You have to be able to
take your butt chewing without crying like a baby, too!

JoBildo: style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>Alright, that concludes the
interview.  Thanks so much guys for taking the time to answer these
questions and letting the community know everything they could want to know
about BORN IN CHAOS.  It’s been a pleasure.

BORN IN
CHAOS: I’ve enjoyed speaking with you as well. Thanks for the opportunity to
chat with you!
