Level 30 mounts and Nerfs to Rogues and Magister's Terrace and much more!

As the extended maintenance notice on the WoW login screen foreshadowed, Patch 2.3.4 is going live today on all realms. Many of the changes are housekeeping items that should have been done ages ago (Bhag'thera I'm looking at you! The spawn rate has been changed to a normal quest spawn rate). Other changes are more substantial, such as the ability to get mounts at level 30 for a training cost of 35gold (and yes Paladin and Warlocks still get theirs free at level 30). Rogues around the globe are gritting their teeth during their "rebalancing":

Rogues:
* Cheat Death: This talent has been rebalanced significantly. Killing blows are no longer 100% absorbed. If the Rogue is below 10% health, the killing blow is still completely absorbed; if the Rogue is over 10% health, enough damage will be absorbed to reduce the Rogue's health down to 10%. For the following 3 seconds, damage is not always reduced by 90%; it is now reduced by a maximum of 90%, depending on how much resilience the Rogue has. The damage reduction will be four times the damage reduction resilience causes against critical strikes.

I don't play an end game rogue, but I have already heard the wailing. Magister's Terrace receives some nerfs as well, so those people struggling to get the purplz off Kael'thas should have an easier go of it. Good news for Boomjack, rumor has it that all of his hard earned Arena Points can now be used to purchase epic gems which are not "unique equipped." Unwritten into the test realm notes, but also rumored additions of a brew fest boss and Hallow's End event may be included. We'll have to log in and see!

The official patch notes haven't made it to the deployed section, but you can read the latest notes on the World of Warcraft Test Realm page.
