Noble District - The Marketplace Quest Guide

The Noble District: The Marketplace Quest Guide

Welcome to The Noble District! This zone is found off of Aquilonia's gorgeous city of Old Tarantia and clearly the Noble District has been torn apart by warring armies. Some parts are quite friendly, and others much less so, it's hard to tell which areas are which until you're right in the middle of the battle!

This zone is intended for levels 40-50. I wouldn't start here if you play solo until 41 or 42 because of the difficultly of the mobs and close proximity of adds.

This guide will cover the Noble District areas called The Marketplace, Old Tarantia Gate, The Barracks, and The Temple of Mitra. Keep an eye out soon for the remainder of The Noble District!

If you happen upon any quests in these areas that are not listed here, please send what you know to my inbox and I'll do my best to get those added!

Quest Name

Quest Details
Mini-Map
Reward
A Relative Risen
Little Vitana
Speak with Quatruus about Vitana's dead mother. Quatruus asks you to kill his wife..again. You can find along the path to the mausoleum and within the mausoleum courtyard.
Armsmans Tavern
Amedies
Collect the supplies and then deliver them to the tavern.
Assault on Tarantia
Cario
Deliver the note to Captain Falco.
Black Skulls, The
Archpriest Zyras
Kill the evil Black Skulls from within the city. These kills are all fairly easy, though Rajjar comes with a few minions.
Burning the Barricades
Captain Falco
Help halt the advance by burning the barricades. You are looking for the piles of wood and debris in the roads and paths in the area.
Cleaning the Streets
Captain Falco
Kill Nemedians then the one of their leaders at the north gate. Just clear your way to the North Gate and you'll get plenty of Nemedians for this quest!
Concealing the Chinks
Captain Falco
Collect empty suits of armor from the nearby barracks (in the chests by beds) for Falco's silly plan. Then place armor on the dummies throughout the area, found around the various guard posts. Kill a few mages and prophets, then head on back!
Death From Above
Captain Falco
Kill archers that threaten the barracks. I climbed up the wall and killed the archers at the highest point. The archers are non-aggro and nothing else will attack you up here!
Patterns of Insanity
Officer Carnifex
Check out the murder locations and then question a few locals. The astrologer had to be questioned repeatedly before I got the update. This is a tricky quest. After talking with Carnifex again, you need to talk with the Junk Dealer, but he's not marked on your map (see our mini-map for his location), get the pattern from him and take a look. It's a drawing of a shape and you will find that shape in the wall behind the murdered bodies. Bust it open and kill your murderer!
Purging the Fallen
Captain Falco
Speak with the barracks healer then retrieve the sacred flame and kill more of those darned Nemedians. TO get the flame, go around the building and over the climbing wall (see mini-map). Kill the guys. Then go set the rotting pile of dead bodies on fire. Good fun!
Purveyor of Putrescence, The
Juna
Go smack down a butcher who sells bad meat. Per usual business practice, he blames it on someone else. Wait for the green-cloaked man to come by, follow him and you'll find a whole lot of grossness. The butcher now needs you to get fresh meat via
the stray dogs in the district.
Sinister Sepulcher, The
Archpriest Zyras
Investigate the Mausoleum, kill some undead, destroy the orb, and kill the necromancer.

Source of the Contagion
Brother Persus
Obtain a sample of the poison the enemy is using. Kill some assassins and raiders, you can go up the road towards to North Gate or across the bridge for these. Then you'll need the poisoner, he hides in that corner, but the area was a little bugged for me at the time of doing this quest and I got some invisible mobs as well. I ran away to avoid death.
