EVE Chronicles: All These Wayward Children.

EVE Online has provided yet another chapter in the EVE Chronicles, All These Wayward Children. Continuing the thread of viewing the stars from all aspects of the races, this chronicle is from the Amarrian point of view. Read about the impact that Empress Jamyl Sarum has on a room:

"When someone cleared their throat, it raised the hairs on the back of his neck, and when he turned and saw who was standing in a darkened part of the room, he felt like his skin was going to tear itself off his body in fear."

According to this chapter in the lore; the stories of her stopping the Minmatar invasion vary widely, but all agree it was ultimately her doing.

Yet another colorful character in the world of EVE Online. The lore available on EVE Online: Chronicles is extremely well done, and just shows one more way in which the crew of CCP is working to provide more for its community.

I flip flop on reading the lore of the games I play, sometimes I really enjoy it, but most of the time it feels manufactured to support the game instead of the other way around. I have to say though, the type of short stories on the EVE Chronicles draw me in a bit and make me want to see it all in the game. While not the hound of lore, I do enjoy a good story. Do you like to read the lore before you play a game, or do you decide on the gameplay first and then read about the lore? Or are one of the lore-avoiders?
