City of Heroes offers respect, or at least a respec.

Have you painted yourself into a corner with the way you spent your power points? Well whine no more, City of Heroes announced today that they will allow players to respec their characters for a nominal fee of U.S.$9.99 which is about 1 Euro I think. Even though there are other ways to respec, NCsoft is answering the call of the players:

There are already multiple in-game methods that players can obtain a Respec. Now, if the convenience of purchasing a Respec is desired, it is available. Having a purchasable option has been an often heard desire from the game's customers.
