New PlayerScore Character Claiming

Lineage II: Gracia Dev Diary - More Items, New Skills and Different Places to Hunt

Posted Fri, Aug 01, 2008 by Cody Bye

Throughout the last few years, the developers at NCsoft have been grinding away, producing content for each of their respective properties, including arguably their biggest game: Lineage II. In their next update, the L2 devs will be lowering the time it will take players to level, which is a far cry from what the game used to stand for (grinding, insane leveling times, and more). The Ten Ton Hammer staff has recently nabbed a developer diary chronicling some of the other changes taking place in L2, and we hope you enjoy the article!

The skill system has undergone many changes, almost all much for the better. The idea is to let skills help players in battle a lot more, enabling them to defeat more, tougher opponents, support each other better in raids, and let them advance in status quicker. Generally, all short-ranged physical skills now enjoy a boost in power along with a reduction in MP cost. In other words, they hit harder for a lot less mana.
