New trailer shows a lot of close combat in a big space.
Jumpgate Evolution is starting to edge toward launch at some undefined time in the future, but they haven't been sitting around. Apparently NetDevil has been working on their movie skills in addition to the working on the game. They are showing off a brand new trailer and it definitely highlights the space combat. The teaser doesn't get too caught up in lore when the developers know we just want to see spaceships shooting at each other with friggin' laser beams. I didn't take much away from the trailer other than there will be a lot of space battles (duh?) and they will be dogfights. My adrenaline started pumping, or was that my pacemaker kicking into overdrive when I saw how many ships are in the combat area, yikes!
But don't take my weak-kneed space legs as a real indication, go see the real Jumpgate Evolution trailer.
