High Elf RvR Quests - Tier One

Empire Leveling Guide: Tier 1

HIGH ELF RVR QUESTS: TIER ONE

You've worked hard for the High Elf forces to get this far, but now the true test of your mettle awaits. There is a constant battle raging on the island between The Blighted Isle and Chrace, and it is here where you'll help the High Elves keep their land their own. There are about 5 quests in total to find at the Warcamp, TOR AENDRIS, one of which is repeatable. All of them can be obtained from Saritha Lightweaver. Let's take a look, shall we?

SLAY THE INVADERS!

Rewards: 710xp and 70 copper.

Objective: Kill 10 Enemy Players.

This one's pretty straightforward. Go out into the RvR zone and slay 10 of the enemy players. The only downside will be if there's not much activity in the zone, you're less likely to accomplish it. There's not much else to say about this one other than it's repeatable, and on 2nd and sequential completions it'll only require 3 enemy players. My advice? Find a group and stick with them, because rolling in an RvR zone is vastly different from PvE. But you probably already knew that if you're reading this.

LORENDYTH HILL

Rewards: 860xp and 1 silver 6 copper.

Objective: Scout The House of Lorendyth.

Again, a simple quest, as they all are in this tier. The main goal of the quests here, you'll find, are to get you to go out and mix it up with other players. To scout The House of Lorendyth, all you need to do is cross the shallow river south of the Warcamp, and making your way into the zone, head left and up the winding path that climbs a sheer cliff's edge. At the top of the path, you'll see The House of Lorendyth, and all you need to do to complete this quest is get close enough to it for them to consider you done.

As a general rule, if the House is under the control of Destruction forces, you might want to bring friends with you and take the sucker back. To do so, you'll need to clear the 5 guards, while watching for enemy players as well, and then capture the flag that's inside the tower. If you manage to do this, you'll have to hold the point for 3 minutes to change control of the House of Lorendyth over to the Order side. A good strategy is to have a tank or two stand right at the door, filling its arch, with a healer or 3 inside behind him. The collision detection in the game, will aid you greatly in this strategy and it works flawlessly in my experience.

FORBIDDEN ALTAR

Rewards: 1100xp and 1 silver 6 copper.

Objective: Scout The Altar of Khaine.

If you're hitting all 5 of these quests in one sitting a good strategy is to head and do this one right after you complete Lorendyth Hill. The Altar of Khaine is the NW capture point in the RvR zone, and the quickest path to it is the road south of the mountains in the middle of the RvR zone. Again this is a simple quest, meant to get you out and about and watching your back. All you need to do is get close enough to the Altar to trigger the quest as complete.

Like before, be wary of stumbling upon a fight in progress. If there's not one, and it's up for grabs, take it for your realm, you elven maggot! It's not only good for the people of Order, but also for you and everyone in that zone!

NIGHTFLAME GUARDIAN

Rewards: 1060xp and 1 silver 6 copper.

Objective: Scout The Tower of the Nightflame.

This one, shockingly enough is just like the previous two capture point quests. Nestled in the Southeastern corner of the RvR zone (it'll be denoted by a shield on the map of Chrace), the Tower of the Nightflame. Go there, get close enough to trigger a quest completion, and move on... unless of course you have the juevos to take it back from the Destruction army if it's not under your control.

THE SHARD OF GRIEF

Rewards: 1200xp and 1 silver 6 copper.

Objective: Scout The Shard of Grief.

Have you started to see a pattern yet? This one's just like the previous 3. The Southwestern capture point is called the Shard of Grief, and like the others, all you need to do is trigger a complete by getting close enough to the point of interest. Be careful here though, as there are far more objects for enemies to hide behind in the area. It's a small cluster of ruins, and they can be used as lovely hiding spots, by both sides of the war.

Also, be aware that throughout all 4 of these quests for the capture points in the zone, you'll find yourself likely under attack from the opposing forces and that death will send you all the way back to the Warcamp. It's not a large zone, and doesn't take long to traverse... but all that walking can still be a pain. Bring a group of allies if you favor your W key.
