Empire RvR Quests: Tier 1

Empire RvR Quests: Tier 1

You've proved your allegiance to the Empire through both personal and Public Quest in Warhammer but now a greater calling exists.  War drums and combat can be heard in the distance as the first warcamp approaches but what awaits? Quest objectives can be difficult enough at times, but these quests will send you in to the battlefield to scout, rescue villagers, and reclaim supplies.

While there aren't any major rewards for these quests, they do provide a little bit of cash and experience.  You'll be RvRing in these areas anyway, so why not pick up a little extra for your trouble?.

Sergeant Altmann

Found in the eastern part of the camp, you'll have a quest from the prior hub to see him anyway so he shouldn't be too difficult to locate.  See our leveling guide for help.

Remmerbruk Regulars: Altmann wants an accurate count of the Norse ships landing on the beaches.  The easiest (and safest) way to reach them is to head up the hill to the west and turn north following the ramp down past the cannons.  If you drop down to the left it's unlikely you'll be seen.  Approach the very visible ships sitting on the coast for an auto update.

The Emperor's Mandate: Altmann wants another scouting job but admittedly this one is a LOT more dangerous.  You'll need to make your way in to New Emskrank and scout three different locations using a scroll.  Fortunately they are fairly easy areas to find because two of the three are near battlefield objectives.  If you leave the warcamp using the road Altmann is on, right as you enter the first square this can update your Southside objective.  Remember to open up your inventory and use the scroll provided.  In the northeast side, you'll find the Harvest Shrine objective and the square just north of that should update your Northside objective.  The Festenplaz objective to the southwest should update the Beach objective.  Return to Altmann.

Marie Burghardt

You'll find Marie up the hill in the western portion of the warcamp.  She provides two quests initially with two more followups.

Saving New Emskrank: Where is hero when you need one?  Right here because you are going to save new Emskrank.  Marie wants you to accomplish three tasks to do so.  First head to the Harvest Shrine in town and located next to the fence around the actual shrine is a barrel of mead.  In the same area on the outside of the square you'll see some huts with a pile of sticks in front of it.  Interact with it to douse the kindling.  Finally you need to secure the Spices.  Head west to Festenplaz and you'll find it right in the middle of the square in a small bag.

The Return of the Locket:This quest requires the completion of Saving New Emskrank. Marie simply wants you to scout out the docks in a manner similar to what you did for Altmann.  This time head to the boast but move along the coast to the west until you see a building and a ship.  If you get near enough you'll get your update.

Seize the Lost Lagoon: Unsatisfied with the state of the battlefield, Marie demands you scout the Lost Lagoon battlefield objective to the north.  This will require you to actually head into Norsca so the safest route is actually to avoid the battlefield all together and head north then cut across to the west.  You'll approach a small island and when you enter the cave should get your update.  The objective is rarely a flashpoint for conflict so it should be a milk run.

The Faces of War Part 1: The quest is just about as easy as it comes.  Kill one Destruction player.  Using the map, look for crossed swords to locate a battle and join in.  Just getting in a few hits will give you credit for this quest. Head to Rupert Pfeiffer when you are done.

Lieutenant Grais

Standing near Marie Burghardt you will find Lieutenant Grais who will give you a fairly simple quest.

Securing the Festenplatz: Grais simply wants you to scout Festanplaz.  Make your way to the Festenplaz battlefield objective where you'll get an auto update based on proximity.

Rupert Pfeiffer

Rupert is standing next to the tent near the cliffs in the western warcamp and provides at least one repeatable quest.

Scarlet Tide:This quest is pretty self explanatory and requires you to kill 10 Destruction players on the battlefield. It can be done in Nordland, Norsca, or the easy way in the Nordenwatch Scenario.

The Faces of War Part 2: This quest requires the completion of Part 1 from Marie Burghadt to kill one destruction player.  Part 2 will up the ante and Rupert wants you to kill another Destruction player but they must be inside New Emskrank.  Find a mass of people who are trying to take objectives and join in, this will be done before you know it.

The Faces of War Part3: The last part of Rupert's quest chain requires you to make your way back to the docks and light a pyre to signal troops.  As you approach the docks you'll see a pile of kindling on the right side.  There can be enemy NPC's that patrol if the objective is Destruction controlled but you should be able to approach without being attacked.

We hope this will help you through Nordland's Order RvR quests and be sure to keep checking back as we add more.
