It's just a feel good kind of day.

With the earlier announcement of CCP's Child's Play auction, now we have another great organization being offered some help from another video game development studio. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has teamed up with Hi-Rez Studios in a way to raise money and allow the public the first glimpse of The Global Agenda, the MMO that Hi-Rez has been working on since 2005 when Hi-Rez was formed. Datails:

Mission: Pwning for a Cure will be held at Computer ArenA in Roswell, Georgia on Saturday, November 8th from 12-5pm. The event, co-sponsored by the Georgia Department of Economic Development's Film, Music & Digital Entertainment Office, will include hours of Global Agenda matches, game development seminars, a silent auction, raffles, prizes, music, and food. Hi-Rez Studios will also provide attendees with the unique opportunity to register for the invitation-only At-Home Alpha Testing Program and join the Global Agenda community.

So for those of you in the area of Roswell, Georgia, you could be among the first people to check out the new game, play alongside (and against) the development team and support a great cause. For more information about the event, go to Hi-Rez.
