Should caster combat be more like melee combat?

Good ol' Wexx is back with a new thread. Do you guys feel caster combat should be more involving like melee, or would it likely cause casters to suffer a sudden case of death during PvP combat? That is the question. I think there are things that could be done that would make caster combat become similar to melee combos outside of spellweaving. What do you guys think? Read up and tell us here.

Funcom's new Game Director chimes in on Drunken Brawling.

This thread has a lot of good points about various topics and not just boobies. Drunken Brawling gets brought up and the new Game Director Craig "Silirrion" Morrison drops in for a quick response and the possibility of renewed hope that we might one day see Drunken Brawling get resurrected.

What the heck is RP?

Sontlux posted this nice thread about what roleplaying is. In the original post there are two links to a war that is going on between two guilds. While it is roleplay it also offers up some fine opportunities for gaming and PvP combat. Once you read past the trolls attacking the original post the thread offers a nice look at the roleplaying aspect of Age of Conan.

What is FC's stance on Fight Clubbing?

I saw this one coming a mile away. What do you think about people just allowing someone to slaughter them over and over to get PvP Exp? I think it is a lame thing to do and seriously misrepresents your status while granting you something in PvP that you did not earn. What do you guys think? Read up and tell us. I am interested to see what everyone has to say.

AoC Ten Ton Hammer Threads of the Week

How many of us are still playing?

This thread has evolved a bit and still has some good discussion coming out of it. There is even a current bet going on between two community members of whether AoC or War will be running ahead in subscription numbers in a few months. Which do you think will be top dog.

Fight Clubbing PvP Kills

Given my recent interest in the Fight Club thread on the official forums I wanted to open up the floor to the community for some feedback. Do you feel Fight Clubbing PvP kills is ok or just an exploit in game mechanics? Vote and tell us what you think.

Weekly Funny with the Tuk

(The Weekly Funny is not reflective of the views of Ten Ton Hammer. That said, they are of mine.)

Nothing amuses me more than watching some crook screw up and get himself into trouble. Such is the case with this week's criminal mastermind. I think he might have been fine if he hadn't called her grandma.

Granny was packin...
