Speculation running rampant over Everquest 3 on the PSP

President of Sony Online Entertainment, John Smedley, recently made a panel appearance which offered a few juicy teasers to us gamers. First and foremost Sony is considering making MMOs for their hand-held console, the PSP. Of course, that's a long way down the pipe. To quote Mr. Smedley though:

"I think PSP is something that we're definitely looking at; 34 million [sold] worldwide really opens your eyes... And they're all connected."

Also exciting gamers is that new Everquest games were promised in the same panel interview. This is a sure and promised thing - it's probably been in the works for several months if not a year plus by now. But the two so close together... Well, everyone will draw their own conclusions.
