PvP Gear can make a big difference when facing an opponent on the battlefield. Any good PvP group will target the healers first to try and eliminate them and make the other members of their group easier targets. As such, this gear can aid you greatly in combat and add to your chance of surviving an encounter where you will clearly be the first target.
