Dark Elf RvR Quests, Tier 1

Before the time of the Sundering, the High Elves and Dark Elves lived together on the isle of Ulthuan. Then came the time when Malekith, tainted by greed, poisoned the then Phoenix King, Bel-Shannar in an attempt to usurp the throne. When Malekith walked through the Flames of Asuryan to prove his worth, he was hideously burnt for his transgressions. Now the supporters of Malekith rose up and did battle with their cousins, and thus the Sundering occured and the Druchii left Ulthuan for Naggaroth... but they never forgot their home or the offenses heaped upon them by their cousins that day. Now, Malekith has enginered a way to take back his rightful place as the Phoenix King, and his homeland. As a Dark Elf, it is your place to serve the Witch King, and wipe your hated kin from your birthland. You'll do this by going to the Cynathi span Warcamp, located off of the Chapter Three Mistwood camp. From there, you'll take order from Druchii of higher standing than yourself...

Turakar the Scarred

Death and Honor

Turakar is a bit upset. Seems he's been slaving away for House Ulthorin for many, many moons and he's not happy with it anymore. He has plans. BIG plans... that really have nothing to do with you. Just get out there and kill 10 enemy players. This can be done in Open RvR or Scenarios. Return to him when done for a reward. Once you've done this one quest for him, he opens up a few others that are mostly travel quests.

Nistren's Demands

Seems Nistren Tyros has caught the attention of Turakar. Turakar wants you to head over to Nistren and do some stuff for him. This is almost hardly worth mentioning, it's so easy. Walk fifty feet over to Nistren Tyros and speak with him. Easy money and it opens a new quest!

Zanrith Valonir

Seize the Altar of Khaine!

A Disciple, forged in the fires of Khaine

Zanrith Valonir is looking to get in big with the higher ups. To this end he charges you with taking the most sacred of Druchii landmarks. The Altar of Khaine houses the Sword of Khaine, used by Aenarion to drive back the forces of Chaos during the First Incursion of Chaos. This is a scouting mission. The Altar of Khaine is located on the Blighted Isle area of the map, to the east. All you need to do is come within the vicinity of the Battlefield Objective and you should trigger the completion of the quest.

The End of House Lorendyth

The High Elven House of Lorendyth has stood guard over the Altar of Khaine since the dawn of awhile ago. Since they always stand guard over the Altar of Khaine, Zanrith has decided that they be slaughtered to a man... and they have. Now you have to get up there and lay claim to House Lorendyth before your cousins do! This is another scouting mission, so no need to kill yourself. Just get within range and get your ding on. There's a back way up to House Lorendyth you can find if you hug the cliff wall on the right when you come out of the Warcamp. It's close to where you can see the water and the High Elven Warcamp.

Stealers of the Nightflame

Zanrith has another plan, one that won't put you in danger... too much. Seems there's this Tower that's built on the ruins of a city that exsited before the Sundering, when the Druchii and their cousins parted ways rather brutaly. The Tower of the Nightflame is known to all and if the Dark Elves were to take it, it would serve as a beacon that the true rulers of Ulthuan has come home... so guess what you're doing? That's right! You're heading out to the Chrace side of the RvR map and scouting out the Tower of the Nightflame, located in the eastern area. Pop in, get the update, and pop right out again unless you plan to stick around and enjoy the scenery.

Shard Duty

Zanrith is a bit touchy at this point. Seems the upper echelon want him to take the Shard of Grief, something that Zanrith sees as nothing more than a mere wall. So, you get to go and scout out this wall for him. The Shard of Grief is located in the western part of the Chrace RvR map. Once again, get in the vicinity, quest updates, blah, blah, you know the drill by now.

Nistren Tyros

Steal Their Memories

Nistren Tyros has a plan to boost the morale of all the Dark Elves and lower the morale of the High Elves at the same time! By stealing these landmarks and making them the Druchii's own, they will never again give the High Elves inspiration and will ensure that the victories of the past belong to the Dark Elves alone. (This is a multi-part quest)

- Your first task is to rekindle the Nightflame! This takes you into the Chrace side of the RvR map. Once you get to the Tower of the Nightflame, you'll see a clickable urn all the way at the back, underneath the doorway of the tower. If Order controls the battlefield objective, then there's really no way of getting to it without a fight. You can avoid fighting the Champion by waiting for him to move forward, but you'll have to fight one of the other four guards. Then hug the wall and get to the urn. Interacting with it will satisfy this part of the quest, and brings up the next part.

- Now you're going to head over to the Shard of Grief, also located on the Chrace side of the RvR map. When you get there, there will be a pedestal in the middle of the ruins. On the pedestal will be a shard of the wall of the House of Halyndell, a former house of lore and study. Interact with it to get the update. If Order controls this battlefield objective, then you're pretty much hosed. The Champion sits right on top of shard practically and never paths too far away from it. You may need a friend to help you get this update. Once you do, you'll get the next quest.

You can get to the banner pole from this side

- Next, you'll be heading up to House Lorendyth. The High Elves of the House of Lorendyth were charged with gaurding the Altar of Khaine, but now, they've been destroyed to a man. You'll need to get up to the house and plant the banner of the Dark Elves. The banner is not the flag in side the house, which is the battlefield objective. There is a pole on your left side as you approach the House. This pole is interactive and clicking on it will update the first part of this quest. If Order controls this battlefield objective, have no fear. You'll only have to fight one of the standard mobs and can avoid the Champion by coming around and over the rubble. The banner pole is interactable at a distance so you can stay out of the Champion's aggro range. If you don't see the Champion, don't be fooled. He paths inside the house, out of view. The second part of this quest is to kill one enemy player. This can be accomplished in either Open RvR or in a Scenario. Return to Nistren Tyros when you're done.
