When it comes to the international marketplace, most gamers tend to href="http://www.abc.net.au/science/articles/2006/11/02/1777947.htm?site=science/greatmomentsinscience"
target="_blank">act like ostriches and keep their heads
buried in the sand. It's not that we don't care - it's
typically the fact that we have a hard enough time keeping up with our
own MMOG news. So when href="http://www.tentonhammer.com/node/44177" target="_blank">Perfect
World International was announced, most gamers went..." href="http://www.pacdv.com/sounds/people_sound_effects/huh_2.wav"
target="_blank">Huh?" To learn more about the
upcoming game, Ten Ton Hammer's Danny "Ralsu" Gourley had a
conversation with PWI's Jonathon Belliss about the imported
free-to-play game and whether or not the title will be a "perfect fit"
for gamers.

"Being gamers ourselves, we know what it’s
like to play a
great game, but find the game’s overall impact and
presentation stinted by inappropriate or even incoherent localization,"
Jonathon said. "All of us here at Perfect World Entertainment felt a
genuine desire to provide a free to play product with pay to play
quality. A game’s localization should accent and compliment
an end-user’s experience, not hamper or discourage them from
completing objectives and progressing through the game."
