No event, simple announcement.

Perhaps meant to coincide with the release of patch 3.0.3, the Wrath of the Lich King beta servers quietly went offline this morning, around 2 am eastern time. This has left many beta testers feeling betrayed by the lack of any advance notice - let alone a friendly beta-end event.

No end event? No advanced notice? Just goodbye?

This hurts.

It's kind of like that girlfriend who you thought was really great, only to find one morning when you wake up that she's gone and all her stuff isn't there anymore. All you're left with is a note: "It's over."

At least next week we'll get to come back to the Northrend we've come to know and love.
