The long-time dream of EVE Online Senior Technical Producer Torfi Frans Olafssen is starting to come to life. At EVE FanFest 2008, players got their first real-time glimpse into the EVE Walking in Stations project, which will allow pilots to exit their ships and enter stations as avatars for the first time ever. Join Olafsson as he takes his character from his pod into the Captain's Quarters for a change of clothing, into the promenade (a large area that functions something like the corridors of a mall or airport) and into a player-owned, Minmatar themed bar. And yes, there will be an exotic dancer!

Take a look at our EVE Online - Walking in Stations feature article to get up-to-date on all the latest features and changes to the WIS project.
