AoC: Border Kingdom Cryer - Ymir's Pass Goes Live

Posted Fri, Nov 14, 2008 by Martuk

Age of Conan Hyborian Adventures (AoC) has had a busy couple of weeks as a new content update introduced Ymir's Pass to the live servers and Funcom dropped the hammer on PvP exploiters who took advantage of a flaw in the latest PvP update to gain PvP levels a lot faster than intended. This has led to a lot of controversy on the Official forums. With all the new discussion circulating around AoC it can be a difficult job finding all the good information as the forums become more saturated with thoughtless rants and dramatic post. Let the Border Kingdom Cryer save you the trauma of reading through the drama. Join us as we examine some of the top pieces of discussion over the past week. Ymir's Pass goes live, Ten Ton Hammer Interviews US Community Manager Glen 'Famine' Swan, PvP experience gets rolled back, all this and more in this week's Border Kingdom Cryer.

Unless you were living under a rock or in a coma this week you probably know that AoC got another big update that pushed its first free PvE content area live. Players can now log in to explore Ymir's Pass and experience the new content given to us by Funcom.

The high-fantasy setting isn't the only thing that would make Game of Thrones a fantastic story-based MMO.
