Warhammer Online at Ten Ton Hammer - Taking MMOG Gamers to the Next Level!

I've spent the better part of the past two weeks clicking the Live Event tab in my Tome of Knowledge, and the guitar riff has now become part of my psyche.

Throughout the event, the objectives of which are nicely recapped HERE, I've been wondering how exactly Heavy Metal fits into the Warhammer lore. I'm not complaining, I'm just curious. I know Mark Davis summed it up a wee bit for us, but I prefer to think of the reasoning more along the lines of Gort here.
