Aurora Blade Accused of Plagarism

Free to play game Aurora Blade has been accused of copying artwork and systems from other games, specifically Ragnarok Online. The discrepancy was noticed when Ragnarok players decided to check out Aurora Blade.

IGG, the publishers of Aurora Blade have responded that they only host the game, and that they are not responsible for it's content.

Many forum members have posted threads regarding similarity betwen Aurora Blade, and other third party games

We would like to explain that SkyUnion(IGG) is not responsible for the developing of the game, that is any character, artwork and graphic is developed by another company and this game is HOSTED by IGG.

Any thread or post containing information about other games that including screenshots, game info or any other information will be deleted, as its against the forum rules.We will also take actions against members that will repeat breaking the forum rules.Therefore we have to ban members according to the severity.This may lead to a permanent ban from the forum.

Free-to-play is a model that seems to be catching on quite regularly with many developers and another game you might have heard of has just joined the ranks of the free. Gravity Interactive recently announced that it has tossed out the subscription model for its MMORPG, Ragnarok Online, and not the call is out to all heroes to return to Midgard and play for free.

Players will have the option to play Ragnarok Online for free or take advantage of a VIP subscription, which will include increased experience gains, larger storage capacity, monster drops and access to special NPCs and areas. Check out the official press release after the break for more details.
