Due to some technical difficulties the server merger of 'Bloodspire' and 'Hyperborea' has been delayed. The initial merger encountered a few problems resulting in the rollback of the two. They are once again stand alone servers. This is only temporary until a solution has been found for the issue involving the merger. Funcom US Community Manager Glen "Famine" Swan told the news in a recent post on the Official AoC forums.

Greetings,

There were some technical issues during the process of the server merge of 'Bloodspire' and 'Hyperborea' which makes it necessary to investigate the process in detail. To ensure that players of those servers are not experiencing any unforeseen problems when logging back in with their characters, we decided to roll those two servers back to the state they were before the merge. So both 'Bloodspire' as well as 'Hyperborea' will be coming back up in the same state as before.

The small update has been deployed to all US servers though and clients will update normally.

We will of course be back when the issue has been further investigated so please stay tuned for more information soon.
