Knight of the Blazing Sun - "Look, it's my duty as a knight to sample as much peril as I can. "

In the beginning, Mythic created Empire tanks, but all was not good so they uncreated them. Recently, they recreated them and introduced them back into WAR. The Knight of the Blazing Sun is the Empire's tank class. With his Battlefield Commands, he can bolster other players and their abilities as well as his own. They’re also pretty tough in their own right, which really makes them nothing short of annoying to the opposition when they take the battlefield.

I have to push the Pram a looooooot...

The first thing you want to know when playing a Knight of the Blazing Sun is what Command you should have up and when. There are a couple that will be your mainstays. One is "Stand Strong!", which will bolster the toughness of yourself and those around you. The other is "On Your Guard!", and this Command causes damage to everyone who hits you, every time they hit you, and that comes in handy since people tend to not like you.

Now being a tank, going sword’n’board is the best choice. Sure you could do more damage with the Claymore, but with the shield comes abilities like "Shield Rush", which not only does damage, but also increases your chance to block by a certain %. So now you have the added benefit of the regular shield blocking plus the increase of blocking for a short period of time, and you do damage with this ability. It’s full of more win than the local high school football team playing the 0-15 Detroit Lions! Also, since it refreshes pretty quick, you can keep using it to keep that blocking % up. Coupled with your increased toughness, this will make you a hard person to bring down. You'll need to pay attention to "Crippling Blow" as well, as this is your snare and it will keep you from screaming, “DON’T YOU RUN FROM ME!!” at people as they try to avoid adding to your renown rank. You also will eventually get an ability called "Repel Darkness" that has a decent knockback attached to it. Use this often to keep your healers in the clear and you'll have heals for life.

Trash talking should include boasting about them succumbing to the overwhelming might of your just and honorable combat abilities, with excessive use of the phrases “Have at thee!” and “It’s just a flesh wound!”

Bright Wizard - "Did it look at you? Did the fire look at you? It did. Whoa. Wow. Our worlds aren't that far apart after all, are they?"

If you play a Bright Wizard chances are that you’re one of two types of folk. You’re either a closet pyromaniac, or you just like to do STUPID amounts of damage to your foes through the power of pyrotechnics… which sort of loops around to the first personality anyway. Bright Wizards are the ranged DPS class for the Empire, emphasis on the “DPS” portion of that description. Through the use of fire you manage to do ridiculously heinous amounts of damage where ever you go. Of course, life is all about balance so that means you have about the same life span as the guy who goes to a Star Wars convention dressed as Capt. Kirk. Therefore, realize that every time you step onto the RvR battlefield that today’s a good day to die and when it's your time, you go down slingin’ spells!

As a Bright Wizard, you actually have a vital role to play outside of dumping a nuclear holocaust onto your enemies. You have a root called "Fire Cage", and you should use it to save your healers. Why them and not you, you ask? Very simply put, nothing in the game is as terrifying and just plain frustrating as a Bright Wizard with his/her own personal healer. You may not have a lot of hit points, but if someone is constantly refreshing what little you do have? Not even sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads could do more damage than you can.

C'mon people! You've got to FEEL the burn!

Other than the rooting, you really have only one job. Lob fireballs and nasty lava based attacks at anyone whose name looks red to you. You have a plethora of abilities to assist you in your endeavors, but there are a few you’ll use more than others. "Fiery Blast" is an AoE spell that throws multiple fireballs at your target and his surrounding friends. Got a bunch of mooks tied up in a doorway? Having issues with a crowded bridge? Toss three or four of these around and those problems are toast... literally. "Boiling Blood" does two things for you. First it lowers corporeal resistance and does DoT, and second, it sets you up for a high damage ability called "Pyroclastic Surge". The description for "Pyroclastic Surge" reads like this, "A fountain of molten lava envelops your target...". I'm sorry, a fountain of WHAT?!? Yup, and it does extra damage if you have a "hex spell" on the target, and as it so happens, "Boiling Blood" is exactly that kind of spell. No wait, it gets better, because the high power spell "Detonate"? It feeds off a hex spell as well, doing huge DoT damage in an AoE with your target enemy as the focal point. Feel like being Gene Simmons in his early days? Then "Flame Breath" is for you. It does DoT damage as well to anyone in an area up to 35ft in front of you. Of course, let's not forget the spells that got you here like "Fireball" and "Sear", which you will use forever and ever. With all these abilities, you'll make Pyro from the X-men movies look like a emo kid waving a lighter at a concert.

Trash talk for a Bright Wizard should always involve cheesy wise cracks like "Hey, need a light?" or "It's getting hot in here, cause baby? You're on FIRE!".
