About Jeff Hickman

"Jeff Hickman is Executive Producer at Mythic Entertainment, an Electronic Arts Studio. As such he is responsible for managing the overall strategic direction of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, Mythic's hit massively multiplayer online role-playing game, including all design and production of the game. Jeff maintains the overall vision for Warhammer Online, and will ensure that it takes its place as a worldwide leader in the online gaming market.

Jeff began his career building, managing and maintaining large volume call centers in the Customer Support sector. Jeff's talent for resolving customer service issues led him to work for organizations including UniCapital and the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Transit Authority.

In 2001, Mythic Entertainment gave him the opportunity to combine his unique vision of customer service with his other love - online gaming. Since then Jeff has worked on all aspects of the MMO lifecycle, from Design and Production, through Operations and Customer Support. He previously served as Executive Producer for Dark Age of Camelot, and now focuses his attention on Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.

About Paul Barnett

Paul Barnett is the 'Energetic Brit' who has championed Mythic Entertainment's great MMO Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.

Through the use of video blogs, podcasts and behind-the-scenes interviews, he has brought a wider understanding to the fun, fury, joy and madness of making a major MMO. Known for his enthusiastic energy and belief in the MMO game system he enjoys sharing views, ideas, opinions and dogma with like-minded souls.

He is currently the Senior Creative Director for EA's Mythic Entertainment, helping the team deliver on the vision, the mission and the Warhammer idea. He is known for his passionate attitude to both the fun and business aspects of gaming. He tells good stories as well. If you want to hear about MMOs, if you want to hear something different, with hand waving and perhaps white sunglasses then watch him. Last year's talk was packed to capacity, so come early!
