About Matthew Schwartz

Matt is currently the content designer for Cartoon Network's newly released MMO, Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. As a lifelong fan of games and cartoons of all kinds, Matt could not be more thrilled to be a part of this exciting project.

Matt joined Cartoon Network in 2000 as creative manager for Cartoon Network's website. His love for animation and games fueled his numerous creative contributions to Cartoon Network's online content strategies. After helping to launch Tuner Broadcasting's GameTap gaming service in 2005, Matt returned to Cartoon Network to join the then-fledgling MMO group. Matt's writing talent and deep appreciation of Cartoon Network's programming made him a perfect fit for the FusionFall development team.

Prior to joining Cartoon Network, Matt worked in original animation development for MTV Networks and as a location manager for independent film productions throughout New York City.


About Chris Waldron

Chris Waldron is executive producer of Cartoon Network New Media’s massively multi-player online game (MMOG). Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall, was created through a partnership with leading MMOG developer, Seoul-based Grigon Entertainment—the first-ever partnership between a U.S. entertainment company and a Korean developer to create an MMOG for the global marketplace. In his role as executive producer, Waldron oversees design and development of the game from Cartoon Network headquarters in Atlanta, which follows several initial months spent in Seoul. He is responsible for all aspects of game production, technical direction, customer service, billing, community and marketing for the game.

Before being appointed executive producer, Waldron served as director of technology for Cartoon Network New Media, where he oversaw all technical and game development aspects for the Cartoon Network and Adult Swim web sites. CartoonNetwork.com is an award-winning Website that receives approximately 14 million unique users a month. One of Waldron’s key projects during this time was Codename: Kids Next Door – Operation: B.E.S.T., which received a 2004 Emmy Award nomination.

Prior to joining Cartoon Network in 2000, Waldron worked as a web programmer and designer for various companies including Southern Company, BellSouth and FSC Securities Corporation.

Waldron earned his Master’s of Arts in English from the University of Florida.


About Rich Weil

Prior to officially joining the game industry in 2004, Rich worked in Human Resources and Management for many years, including as HR Director for a software development consultancy in Austin, TX. An MMO enthusiast since 1996, Rich is a consistent advocate of new and creative ways to engage and support the online gaming community, as well as being a proponent of Community Relations as a distinct discipline within the gaming industry.

At NCsoft, Rich managed the Community Relations teams for City of Heroes, City of Villains, Lineage, Lineage II, Tabula Rasa, PlayNC and Auto Assault. Rich has also served as Director of Community Relations and Support at Kaneva, a virtual world and social networking company in Atlanta, Georgia.

Currently, Rich is the Community Director for Cartoon Network's newly released Massive Multiplayer Online game, Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall.
