The class on everyone's lips since yesterday's huge announcement has been the Slayer. This is a class that most people can immediately associate with Warhammer and everyone is happy to have them come aboard, but what makes a Slayer different from other Dwarfs? WAR-Europe.com has a little something you'll not want to miss

Firstly, the importance of an oath to the Dwarfs must be understood. There is nothing so miserable or craven in Dwarf society as an oathbreaker. A Dwarf's honour is his most valuable possession and to be in breach of his word is intolerable. Whether it occurs by design or by circumstance, a Dwarf who breaks his given word is no longer truly a Dwarf. Amongst lesser races, a person who has fallen in such a way might consider moving to a different city or even suicide. To a Dwarf however the mark of shame is permanent and suicide is a coward's answer that compounds the initial loss of honour. To a Dwarf there is only one route that can be trod in this situation – the path of the Slayer.

This is a must read for anyone planning to play a Slayer and doubly so for those wishing to RP one. Even if you don't fall into the previous categories, you'll want to look at it as it gives more insight into the wonderful lore that this game was built on. You can read the whole thing here.
