Ten Things You Need to Know about EQ2 Shard Armor

Posted Fri, Apr 03, 2009 by RadarX

EverQuest II released The Shadow Odyssey expansion in November and players have pushed forward through the Moors of Ykesha to claim it's rewards. Shard Armor is the end game and without a basic understanding of how it works, you could be left scratching your head or wasting time. Maybe you've been out of the game for awhile and want to see what everyone is doing now. Ten Ton Hammer has put together ten elements of how Shard Armor works and what's necessary to earn it.

Looking at armor sets can be a little intimidating at first, so it's important to understand there are actually two tiers. The first tier is obviously cheaper and doesn't provide the more exciting bonuses its upgraded counterpart does. A key ingredient in the higher tier is the addition of a critical mitigation stat, which is pivotal to your equipment lineup if you intend to do any raiding in the expansion zones. It's also important to note you must own the first tier piece in order to purchase the second.

The other nine await you in Ten Things you Need to Know about EQ2's Shard Armor
