No 2009 Blizzard Worldwide Invitational?

Posted Tue, Apr 28, 2009 by Savanja

Blizzard's Worldwide Invitational has been the event for Blizzard fans across the globe for the last few years but this year it seems that Blizzcon will be taking front seat and the Worldwide Invitational is no longer. The two events are to be "merged" into the 2009 Blizzcon being held in California this year according to davidluong.net\:

Blizzcon 2009 has also been announced, bigger, and better than the previous, this round it will take up the entire Anaheim Convention center! August 21-22, save the dates! Tickets will be on sale soon, buy them fast, they go record breakingly quick. There will be no Worldwide Invitational this year, as it will be combined with Blizzcon, so there will be even bigger tournaments and competitions this year.

Rumors were spreading late last year that WWI might be held in China. It is unclear if this was an unfounded rumor or at some point minds had changed over the existence of WWI 2009.

I finally got myself a Razor Naga (Molten Edition)!

About a year ago, I really wanted a naga mouse for my birthday. However, my girlfriend goes to BestBuy and the jerk working there tells her that I wouldn't like the naga because its too hard to push the buttons on the side. He told her to get me the World of Warcraft mouse (Cataclysm Edition).
