EVE: Exclusive Q & A Magnus Bergsson

Posted Mon, Mar 12, 2007 by LadySirse

What's Next for EVE?

What's next for EVE? That was the question we presented to Magnus Bersson, CMO of CCP Games. On Tuesday of GDC 2007, we had an opportunity to sit with Magnus and conduct a very candid and honest interview with him. Our questions ranged from the status of Vista/DirectX 10 integration to the current GM scandal situation. His answers are extensive, knowledgable, and provide some intriguing answers to questions that many of us were stewing over.

Magnus: We're trying to get users to engage in smaller battles, because they are actually alot of fun. We're still discussing some of the ideas that we have - and we always keep in mind that we are a service provider so we don't want to influence them too much. We are not gods. The game is driven by players, and we are just trying to keep up with them.
