Geeked - "A Wee Bit Creepy"

Posted Tue, May 12, 2009 by JoBildo

I promise that at least for now this will be the last Star Trek movie themed comic. For now. Maybe. Don't hold me to it.

It's safe to say I liked the flick a great deal, and reading around the web at work it seems most folks really did as well. But what's weirder is that comments on a news article at either Entertainment Weekly or Time has a running commentary on just "how hawt!!!11!1!" Zach Quinto's portrayal of Spock was.

I'm a straight man, but is this really the case? Can our female readers divulge just how the pointy-eared bugger is smoldering? I mean, is it the Legolas factor? Is it the well-groomed bowl cut? Is it the dorky eyebrows? For cripes sake, is that's the case you women folk would have loved me back in the 4th grade.

So what's the deal? Because if I had to pick, it'd be the new Kirk over the new Spock... I mean Uhura!
