If you haven't read the news already, you should. Click that link, and I'll wait for you... done? Good. Some major shaking up over at Mythic and BioWare. From this gamer's perspective, the whole thing basically says to me that EA is not pleased with how WAR is being handled, and thinks BioWare can help the title more than Mark Jacobs can. That's the gist of what I read.

In any case, I'm curious to see what this does mean for WAR, what Paul Barnett will have to say about all this, and whether the game's direction will change with the folks at BioWare sharing the load. Obviously EA is extremely impressed with the early work on The Old Republic, or else this probably wouldn't be going down. Will the Canuck team of developers get the chance to give WAR the boot it needs? Time will tell, I suppose.

Oh, and I hope you enjoyed seeing a familiar face again. I sometimes miss Gort and Kork... but not the other two. So maybe they'll make appearances as often as possible. Lord knows there's plenty of orcs and goblins to put in an MMOG strip.
