Gaming on a Budget - Is Upgrading Possible?

The first in a series of articles focused on gamers with a tight pocket book, Micajah focuses on how a gamer can (or can't) upgrade his computer on limited funds. In the article he explores where the money should go and how you should approach upgrading with only a few bucks to spare.

Set your sights lower. Before you plop down $1600 for a new machine ask yourself this question: what's the biggest problem with my current computer? Why do I need to upgrade? Once that question is answered - and it's not for a selfish reason like "my buddy at work has a pimped-out machine" - you need to make a prioritized list to see what you can and can't upgrade with your money.
