There has been a lot of speculation when the 'World of Warcraft' movie will be released and Yahoo News has just posted a new story with a few extra details. With 'Spiderman' Director, Sam Raimi, will head the project; however, production on the 'World of Warcraft' the movie will have to wait until he completes his work on 'Spiderman 4'. Warner Bros. who will be co-financing the venture plans to distribute the movie sometime in 2012. Warner Bros. also feels that the new 'World of Warcraft' franchise can possibly become just as successful as their 'Harry Potter' and 'Batman' series of movies.

Hollywood studio Warner Bros. is on the verge of launching a new fantasy franchise based on popular game 'World of Warcraft', and feels it has the potential of becoming as successful as its 'Harry Potter' and 'Batman' blockbusters.
