It has been an uphill battle for Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment as they deal with all sorts of financial troubles that have popped up over the course of Stargate Worlds production. After development seemingly came to a stand still and reports flowed in on CME's unpaid bills, unpaid employee wages, and lawsuits fans still held out hope that SGW will eventually make it to the market.

MMORPG.com has reported that CME may have secured funding that will finally get SGW back on track to finish development!

Things are actually very good here right now. We received some funding commitments that will provide financing over time and allow us to move forward with development and start catching up on our past due financial obligations, including some back payroll that we paid last week.

Is this enough to push Stargate Worlds back into the race or have fans become disillusioned through the roller coaster of rumors that has surrounded the popular game IP? Chime in on the discussion by clicking the "Post your comments" link below!
