EverQuest Wedding Package Images from the Station Marketplace

Updated Wed, Sep 02, 2009 by Medawky

Fortune and fancy have knocked on the door, and the Ten Ton Hammer staff has been granted an inside look at some upcoming content for Everquest, specifically the Station Marketplace's Wedding Package. Ever since its launch in 1999,  EverQuest has continued to explore the intricacies of social gaming. One of the most interesting aspects of this initial movement was the in-game weddings that sprouted up as couples, both virtual and real, tied the knot in the lands of Norrath. With ten years of experience under their belts, Sony now introduces a special wedding package that can purchased with Station Cash to further enhance your special moment.

Here's the official word from the devs:
Here come the...Wedding Packs! For the first time ever, experience your special day the EQ way! Light and Dark Wedding Packs include two wedding rings, a cake and your own personal wedding zone for you, your betrothed and your guests!

The wedding pack includes:

1 ticket to launch the wedding instance:
This instance lasts 6 hours and lets you add up to 99 other people to it. The invite mechanic works just like any other dynamic zone.

A pair of wedding rings:
The rings each have 10 charges of the Nimbus of the Lover.

Wedding Cake:
Summons a cake you can place in the zone. Guests can also enjoy slices of your cake.

Florist Token:
Allows you to choose which flowers appear in the various vases inside the chapel
Check out some exclusive screenshots of the chapel area here!
