WoW: Chinese Servers Back Online

Posted Thu, Oct 08, 2009 by Medawky

After two months of being offline and an extended Beta period, WoW China resumed commercial operation yesterday. Mired in legal wrangling and government scrutiny in the way of censorship, the much beleaguered venture into the largest commercial market in the world is finally back on track. Blizzard switched providers in China on June 7th from The9 to Netease in an attempt to improve profit in the region. The switch was far from smooth as it opened the game back up to government interference. No official English language announcement from Blizzard regarding this has been issued at this time so information on the impact of the closure is limited.

I finally got myself a Razor Naga (Molten Edition)!

About a year ago, I really wanted a naga mouse for my birthday. However, my girlfriend goes to BestBuy and the jerk working there tells her that I wouldn't like the naga because its too hard to push the buttons on the side. He told her to get me the World of Warcraft mouse (Cataclysm Edition).
