All Character Transfers Temporarily Suspended

The official site for EverQuest II has an update on why the character transfers have come to a halt today.

While I'd rather be telling you that the free character transfers are rolling along without a hitch - the truth is that we have hit a little snag. It seems that there is a bug in the transfer process that is causing some players to unintentionally dupe their possessions. This is a bad result for a whole lot of reasons so we need to shut down the transfer service for a bit.
