Bethesda isn't the only one with lawyers. Gamasutra is reporting that Interplay has filed a counterclaim against current Fallout owner Bethesda for breach of contract. The company is alleging that Bethesda has breached the Fallout series asset purchase agreement which seems to be the same charges Bethesda has brought against Interplay. The suit alleges Interplay is and will continue to suffer financial loses due to Bethesda's alleged breach.

"As a result of Bethesda's breach of the [asset purchase agreement], Interplay has suffered, is suffering, and will continue to suffer substantial damages and irreparable harm in an amount within the jurisdictional limits of this Court," said Interplay's filing, which was obtained by Gamasutra.
